Ok, so I'm finally taking the wrx off to school. On St. Patty's day, I'll be flogging the wrx around the 1.3 mile track at the Texas Motorsports Ranch under the guidance of the Apex Driving Academy. It's an all day event and here is a typical day:

8:30 Arrive and sign in.
9:00-9:25 Classroom
9:30-9:50 On track drills
10:00-10:25 Classroom
10:30-10:55 Lead Follow
11:00-11:25 Classroom
11:30-11:55 Lead follow II
12:00-12:55 All Lunch
Following lunch you will do four 20 minute sessions with classroom
sessions between them.

The guy who sold me my short-throw shifter will also be going. I need to get my car in shape before track day (replace wiper blades in case of rain, oil, trans fluid, diff fluid and especially brake fluid among other things). I'm starting to get close to needing a new set of tires, too. I might get an alignment since I've been putting that off for no good reason. All of a sudden, 2 weeks doesn't seem like a very long time :)

As of today, there are 20 seats left. It costs $200 for a full day of training/driving if you bring your own car.
