I used to write zaney software doodads. I still do, occasionally. I worked on Drupal.org's software for fun and profit. I've been doing a lot more stuff away from the computer lately, including bike riding, kung fu and watching anime (Bleach and D.Gray Man lately). I just rehabilitated an '87 Schwinn Tempo road bike into a fixed gear setup. I'm now commuting regularly on that bike. I generally have a good time with life. I make it a point not to feel guilty about things and do so by at least trying to do the right thing.
